由北京大学、基于自然的解决方案亚洲中心创新基地及境内外多个机构联合发起的基于自然的解决方案国际会议:应对气候变化,将于2026年9月19—20日在北京举办。会议旨在汇聚全球相关领域的专家学者、政策制定者、实践者及利益相关方,共同交流基于自然的解决方案(Nature-based Solutions, NbS)领域的最新研究成果、创新理念与实践经验,推动面向气候变化挑战的国际合作与知识共享。目前,会议已公布6位主旨报告嘉宾。会议期间还将开展28场特邀报告和15个分论坛,邀请来自全球十余个国家的专家学者共同参与,围绕基于自然的解决方案、气候适应与韧性建设等前沿议题展开跨学科交流。更多嘉宾信息及会议相关内容将陆续发布,敬请期待。
The International Conference on Nature-based Solutions: Addressing Climate Change, co-initiated by Peking University, The Innovation Center of Nature-based Solutions Asian Hub, and multiple institutions at home and abroad, will be held in Beijing on September 19–20, 2026. The conference aims to bring together experts, scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders from around the world to exchange the latest research findings, innovative ideas, and practical experiences in the field of Nature-based Solutions (NbS), and to foster international collaboration and knowledge sharing in addressing climate change challenges. Six keynote speakers have been confirmed for the conference. The conference will also feature 28 invited presentations and 15 thematic sessions, bringing together experts and scholars from over ten countries to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on emerging topics, including nature-based solutions, climate adaptation, and resilience building. 欧洲–地中海气候变化中心气候影响部主任
Director of the Division of Climate Impact at the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Changes
里卡多·瓦伦蒂尼作为政府间气候变化专门委员会(IPCC)成员,于2007年获得诺贝尔和平奖。瓦伦蒂尼曾在图西亚大学、华盛顿卡内基研究所植物生物学系及欧盟委员会联合研究中心担任研究员。自2000年起,他担任图西亚大学森林环境与资源科学系教授,并自2002年起担任该系主任。他的研究领域涵盖生态学、农林系统及全球环境保护国际公约实施相关问题。他是研究农林系统在气候变化与温室效应中作用的先驱,研究成果多次发表于《科学》《自然》等国际顶尖科学期刊。
Riccardo Valentini received the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his activities within the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Valentini was researcher at the University of Tuscia, the Department of Plant Biology of the Carnegie Institution of Washington, and at the Joint Research Center of the European Commission. Since 2000, he is a Professor at the University of Tuscia in the Department of Science of the Forest Environment and its Resources and has been Director of the department since 2002. His research activity focuses on subjects in ecology, in agricultural-forest systems, and problems connected with implementing international conventions for global environmental protection. He is a pioneer in research that is relative to the role of agricultural-forest systems in climate change and the greenhouse effect and has been published multiple times in prestigious scientific international publications including Science and Nature.

1994年毕业于日本东京大学,获理学博士学位,先后在日本、美国、加拿大留学和工作十余年。2001年回国后研究方向为环境催化及其在大气污染防治中的应用,取得了柴油车排放污染控制、室内空气催化净化和大气灰霾成因及控制等方面的系列成果。以第一完成人获国家技术发明二等奖、国家科技进步二等奖、国家自然科学奖二等奖、中国科学院杰出科技成就奖各1项,2017年获何梁何利基金科学与技术创新奖,2020年获全国创新争先奖状,2017年当选为中国工程院院士。发表《环境催化—原理及应用》等专著3部,学术论文730余篇,总被引47000余次,科睿唯安与爱思唯尔高被引科学家。获授权国内外发明专利110余项,其中多项已转让给企业实施应用。现担任国际SCI期刊Environmental Science & Technology和Journal of Environmental Science副主编,在本领域有较大的国际影响。
Prof. He received his Ph.D. in Science from the University of Tokyo in 1994 and subsequently spent over a decade studying and working in Japan, the United States, and Canada. Since returning to China in 2001, his research has focused on environmental catalysis and its applications in air pollution control. His work has yielded a series of achievements in diesel vehicle emission control, catalytic indoor air purification, and the mechanisms and control of atmospheric haze.
As the primary contributor, Prof. He has been awarded the Second Prize of the State Technological Invention Award, the Second Prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the Second Prize of the State Natural Science Award, and the Outstanding Achievement Award in Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Furthermore, Prof. He received the Prize for Scientific and Technological Innovation (Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation) in 2017 and the National Award for Excellence in Innovation in 2020. Prof. He was elected as an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2017.
Prof. He has authored three monographs, including Environmental Catalysis: Principles and Applications, and published over 730 academic papers with more than 47,000 total citations. He is recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher by both Clarivate and Elsevier. He holds over 110 authorized domestic and international invention patents, many of which have been successfully transferred to industry for practical application. Currently, Prof. He serves as Associate Editor for the international SCI-indexed journals Environmental Science & Technology and Journal of Environmental Sciences.

同济大学特聘教授,中国工程院院士
Distinguished Professor at Tongji University; Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering
1989年毕业于同济大学,获工学博士学位。随后赴日本大阪土质试验所和京都大学从事博士后研究,并先后赴美国、德国、新加坡等高校担任访问教授,长期开展国际学术交流与合作。长期从事隧道与地下工程领域的教学与科研工作,主要研究方向包括岩体强度理论与岩土工程数值分析方法、隧道与地下工程全寿命设计理论、地下空间防火安全,以及智能工程系统与应用等。主持完成的科研成果获国家科技进步二等奖2项、国家级教学成果二等奖1项,以及省部级和一级学会科技成果特等奖3项、一等奖10项。2021年当选中国工程院院士。出版《盾构隧道》《城市地下空间防火与安全》(含科普漫画版)等专著8部,发表SCI/EI收录论文380余篇,创办国际学术期刊Underground Space,主参编行业和团体技术标准5部,授权发明专利50余件。现任国际岩土工程协会联盟岩土工程数据标准专业委员会(FedIGS JTC2)主席、国际岩石力学与岩石工程学会中国国家小组执行主席等学术职务。
Prof. Zhu received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Tongji University in 1989. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the Geo-research Institute of Osaka in Japan and at Kyoto University. He has also held visiting professorships at several leading universities in the United States, Germany, and Singapore, establishing a robust background in international academic exchange and collaborative research.
Prof. Zhu’s research interests encompass rock mass strength theory and geotechnical numerical methods, life-cycle design theory for tunnels and underground engineering, fire safety in underground spaces, and intelligent engineering systems and applications.
Prof. Zhu has been awarded two Second Prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award and one Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, along with three Special Prizes and ten First Prizes for scientific and technological achievements granted by provincial and ministerial authorities and national professional societies. He was elected as an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2021.
Prof. Zhu has authored eight monographs—including Shield Tunnelling Method and Fire Protection and Safety of Urban Underground Space (which includes a popular science comic edition)—and published over 380 SCI/EI-indexed journal papers. He is the founder of the academic journal Underground Space. Additionally, Prof. Zhu has contributed to the compilation of five technical standards and holds over 50 authorized invention patents. Currently, he serves as Chair of the Joint Technical Committee on Representation of Geo-Engineering Data in Electronic Form (JTC2) under the Federation of International Geo-Engineering Societies (FedIGS) and Executive Chair of the China National Group of the International Society for Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering, among other professional appointments.

Charles Karangwa was recently appointed to advise Her Excellency Razan Mubarak, IUCN President and COP28-COP 29 High Level Climate Champion on Matters related to Nature-based Solutions. Before joining IUCN Head Quarter in Switzerland, He served as Regional Head of Land Systems, Covering Forests, Drylands, Nature Based Solutions, Sustainable Agriculture at IUCN Africa Region. In 2020, he joined the COP26 High Level Champion team as the lead for land restoration in Africa and worked to engage private sector and other Non-State Actors for an ambitious climate action to Race to Zero and Race to Resilience by 2050. With more than 20 years of Experience in interface between sustainable development, conservation and sustainable finance, Charles focused his work on Climate Change, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, nature-based solutions, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable finance.

2021年,娜塔莉·塞登共同创办了牛津大学社会企业Nature-based Insights并担任非执行董事。作为英国皇家学会大学研究员,她的研究兴趣广泛,涉及生物多样性的起源与维持机制,以及生物多样性与全球变化之间的关系。她目前的工作重点是评估基于自然的解决方案应对社会挑战的生态与社会经济成效,并探索如何增强严谨的生物多样性科学对气候与发展政策设计和实施的影响力。娜塔莉为各国政府和私营部门提供基于自然的解决方案方面的咨询。她是英国气候变化委员会适应委员会委员,负责自然相关议题;同时担任IUCN基于自然的解决方案全球标准科学与知识委员会委员,并任循环生物经济联盟理事。
In 2021, Nathalie Seddon co-founded the Oxford University Social Venture, Nature-based Insights of which she is non-executive Director. As a University Research Fellow of the Royal Society, she developed broad research interests in understanding the origins and maintenance of biodiversity and its relationship with global change. Her work now focuses on determining the ecological and socioeconomic effectiveness of nature-based solutions to societal challenges, and how to increase the influence of robust biodiversity science on the design and implementation of climate and development policy. Nathalie advises governments and the private sector on nature-based solutions. She is a member of the Adaptation Committee of the UK Climate Change Committee, leading on nature; sits on the Science & Knowledge Committee of the IUCN Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions and is Trustee of the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance.

Charles Waldheim is a North American architect and urbanist. Waldheim directs the school’s Office for Urbanization. His research examines the relationships between landscape, ecology, and contemporary urbanism. Waldheim is author, editor, or co-editor of numerous publications on these topics, including Landscape as Urbanism: A General Theory and The Landscape Urbanism Reader. Waldheim developed the theory of landscape urbanism in response to the industrial economies and emergent ecologies of the American city.
