本建筑设计从建筑室内空间需要和造型出发，结合企业产品特点，将多晶硅矿石的造型和现代化的审美情趣结合，打造出别具一格的建筑空间体验，利用太阳能节能环保企业特性，将生态建筑的概念引入建筑设计当中。
建筑周围，选用当地原生植物品种：虎尾草、柴叶小檗、金叶莸、金露梅、火炬树、沙棘等，使整体景观随季节不同产生变幻。折线台地，既解决了建筑入口高差的问题，也在钻石造型前形成了一个诗意化的“托盘”。
The concept for the new Guodian Ningxia Poly-silicon building is derived from the product manufactured by the company, Poly-silicon. Contemporary design aesthetics is fused with the poly-silicon form to give the building a unique Architectural experience. Eco-friendly and environmentally conscious measures have been considered and incorporated into the design.
Local seasonal planting integrate the complex into its existing surroundings, as well as, provide the occupants with an ever-changing backdrop.
The irregular-shaped plinth surrounding the building, not only compensates for the different in elevation between the sidewalk and the main entrance, but also forms a poetic “tray” for the diamond-shape building.
