基于自然的城市基础设施解决方案国际会议
由香港理工大学、国家林草局城市森林研究中心及境内外多个机构联合发起的基于自然的城市基础设施解决方案国际会议,将于2024年4月25-26日在香港举办。
会议旨在提供一个关于将自然融入城市基础设施建设与生命周期管理的讨论和知识共享平台。会议主题将侧重于利用生态系统和自然过程的力量来创建有韧性、可持续发展的城市。它将汇集来自于世界各地不同领域的专家、学者、政策制定者和专业人士,讨论和探索利用基于自然的解决方案来应对城市基础设施面临的挑战。通过主题演讲、技术会议和互动研讨会,参与者将有机会分享知识、交流思想并就促进基于自然的城市基础设施解决方案展开合作。
会议还将安排参观香港基于自然的解决方案案例。参观者将有机会深入讨论在香港这个东西方交汇、充满活力而又紧凑的城市中,如何把基于自然的解决方案融入基础设施的发展和更新改造,解决传统方法难以应对的问题。

Would you like to join discussions on frontier research concerning Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and Infrastructure Construction? We cordially invite you to join us for the International Conference on Nature-based Solutions for Urban Infrastructure (NBSUI) in Hong Kong on April 25–26, 2024!
This highly anticipated conference aims to provide a platform of discussion and knowledge sharing about integrating nature into the lifecycle management of urban infrastructure. The conference theme will focus on harnessing the power of ecosystems and natural processes to create resilient and sustainable cities. It will bring together experts, policymakers, researchers, and professionals from various fields around the world to discuss and explore innovative approaches to address urban infrastructure challenges using NBS. Through keynote speeches, technical sessions, and interactive workshops, participants will have the opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and collaborate on strategies that promote NBS for urban infrastructure.
Visits of present and future NBS sites in Hong Kong will be arranged during the conference. Visitors will have the opportunities to engage in deep discussions on the challenges and opportunities of applying NBS in infrastructure development of Hong Kong—A dynamic compact city where East meets West.
