竖梁社是植根于广州的设计公司，主要设计研究对象为新发展阶段下的中国城市和建筑，特别是粤港澳大湾区发展背景下的城市更新与建筑活化。 “竖梁社”是拉丁文“coenosis”（群落）的中文译名，“coenosis”代表着牵引城市生长更新的各种显性或隐性的力量，隐喻着在新的技术和商业条件下，设计创造力的无穷涌现和自我网罗，缩写cnS（China’s）又代表中国创造，“竖梁”则同时描述当下中国的建造活动。“竖梁社”（cnS）强调团队必须应对的中国现实，以及这个现实所给予的设计和技术约束与灵感的尊重。 联合创始人宋刚,毕业美国康奈尔大学,拥有展览与艺术策划和创意建筑设计经验,现任教于华南理工大学,客座于包括清华大学、同济大学在内的著名建筑学院；联合创始人钟冠球,毕业于南京大学,并入选“中国四十位四十岁以下青年建筑师联展”,任教于华南理工大学；高级设计合伙人朱志远，毕业于清华大学，具有多年建筑设计工作经验，代表竖梁社参与《AREA》杂志中国先锋事务所意大利访问讲学。竖梁社设计团队还包括悬亮子（艺术设计）、绿田（先锋建筑设计），另有设计合伙人三名，事业合伙人五名，设计人员近百名（其中国家一级注册建筑师两名，高级工程师2名，中级工程师4名），核心团队稳定。 团队近些年完成一系列具有社会影响力的作品，如恩宁路永庆坊片区微改造、海珠唯品同创汇、东莞新基白房子民宿群、TIT创意园、广州琶醍景观改造、B.I.G海珠湾创意园等建筑项目。竖梁社的众多旧改项目注重艺术性与实践性的结合，深受各界好评，并不断为国内外媒体广泛报道。 Atelier cnS is a design company rooted in Guangzhou. The main design and research objects are Chinese cities and buildings under the new development stage, especially the urban renewal and building activation under the development background of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. “Atelier cnS” is the Chinese translation of the Latin “coenosis” (community), which represents the various dominant or implicit forces that drive the growth and renewal of the city, metaphorizing the design under new technical and commercial conditions. The infinite emergence of creativity and self-networking, the acronym cnS (China's) represents China's creation, and the "Atelier cnS" also describes the current construction activities in China. “Atelier cnS” (cnS) emphasizes the Chinese reality that the team must deal with, as well as the respect for design and technical constraints and inspiration given by this reality. Co-founder Song Gang, graduated from Cornell University, has experience in exhibition and art planning and creative architectural design. He is currently teaching at South China University of Technology, and is a guest at the famous architecture colleges including Tsinghua University and Tongji University. Co-founder Zhong Guanqiu He graduated from Nanjing University and was selected as "China's 40-year-old young architects exhibition", teaching at South China University of Technology; senior design partner Zhu Zhiyuan, graduated from Tsinghua University, has many years of experience in architectural design, representing the Atelier cnS The agency participated in the "AREA" magazine China Pioneer Office in Italy to give lectures.
